EZ-Pour
EZ-POUR sells universal spouts, parts, and kits for gas cans. For this website design, we focused on improving the user experience and visual design. EZ-POUR’s previous website had a confusing user experience and visually appeared unprofessional and untrustworthy. The previous website was losing functionality and constantly crashing so EZ-POUR needed a new, working website fast.
Sitemap and navigation
Updating the navigation to focus on the products EZ-Pour sells was top of mind with this revamp. Pulling out the product categories into the top level navigation allowed users to have a clear view of EZ-Pours offering at a glance. Renaming key navigation links such as "Find a Retailer" also helped users gain a clear understanding what each link will do when clicked.
Product Photography
Previous photography led users to believe they were purchasing an entire fuel or water jug, not just a spout or other part.
Providing visual direction for the focus of the product photography significantly helped the user experience on this website. Not only did it elevate the product, but it also gave a clear visual of what the user will be purchasing.
Product Pages
Previously the product detail pages lacked a familiar interface for users. The call-to-action was unclear and the visual design of the page felt untrustworthy. Updating the product detail pages to have a familiar e-commerce interface along with key pieces of information user's typically look for was the main goal for the new pages.
